Parks and open space
Bloomdale’s carefully designed masterplan includes over 13 ha of wetlands, 40kms of shared walking paths and bike tracks and 4ha of open space, including six community parks.
Extensive parks and open spaces are linked by routes shaded by native trees and shrubs, providing comfort along the footpaths and streets. The Diggers Rest Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) provides further guidelines regarding the parks and open space in and around Bloomdale and the wider Diggers Rest area to ensure contemporary open space and consideration for both biodiversity and natural systems.
Right from the start, Bloomdale enjoys a range of sporting and recreation facilities on its doorstep, including football ovals, tennis courts, netball courts and parks and for shopping and entertainment, is just one stop from Watergardens retail hub.
