Welcome Event Brings New Neighbours Together

Bloomdale’s newest residents were welcomed recently with fun, food and new friends at the Bloomdale Sales & Information Centre.

Attendees were treated to light refreshments and the opportunity to meet their neighbours and the AVID team. Residents pored over the plans for their new neighbourhood, met their new neighbours and began new friendships.

AVID General Manager Victoria Peter Vlitas said events like these were important for bringing together the community at Bloomdale.

“We’re committed to building more than just a development here, and by bringing together neighbours over some pastries and a good cup of coffee, we can help foster those lasting relationships that make a community.

“Neighbours who’ve met each other at our welcome event will feel more comfortable knocking on each others doors to say hello.

“We’d love it if lasting friendships started at one of these events, it’s one of the ways we can have lasting impact on the community at Bloomdale.”
